I am just about to be finished teachers college, and am curious as to how to find a teaching job. My main concern is what to put on the resume.

You can go to Resume.com and they can be able to write your resume for you with the qualifications you obtain. There is always results before graduation so maybe you can write pending results in the qualitification part. But go this site and let them help you. Your resume is all about you and it is good when you make an impression first with the cover letter and the resume. All the best.

What I was taught is that you only put related experience on your resume when looking for a job. If they ask what you did before or inbetween then you can give them another resume in order to fill in gaps. Usually when looking at candidates for jobs they only want to see things that make you qualified like your education and job history.
