Dismissed because of honesty

I was dimissed because of being honest,Can anyone tell me how that can be possible. It hurts to bits when I think of how loyal I've been to the company and they dismissed me of something I did not do.If I had not informed them, they never would have known,I could have sorted the problem on my own time and yet would they not have picked it up.Yet with no evidence on both mine and the comoany's side I was still dismissed. Is that fair. What can I do as an individual. It really hurts.

being honest sucks and a lot of people dont want to hear the truth.. if you did the right thing then you did the right thing and they just didnt respect you and value you.. i hope you find some where that treats you good and appreciates you soon!!
