What will you do if you are a victim of baseless rumors? How will you react to this? I am once a victim of gossip, how about you mylot friends?

There have been several times in my life that I have been the victim of a stupid baseless rumor,and usually I just ignore it,because there is not point getting mad over rumors,because it will not solve anything,and besides people who truly care about you will not believe any rumors about you.

you are right! but sometimes we are really affected but life must go on. Ignore those people who have nothing to do, yes! that's the best thing to do. Thanks

Sometimes, there is just nothing you can do about those types of situations because people are going to talk regardless. Obviously, I'd stand up for myself and negate the rumors.

I would be terribly upset if someone was spreading baseless rumours about me, mother_earth. What a cruel and awful thing to do! If it happened, I'd try to track down the person who had started the rumours, and confront them. I'd ask why they believed the rumour to be true, and I would explain to them that it wasn't. Then I'd ask them to spread ANOTHER rumour telling everyone the first one wasn't true! I would hope my real friends would believe my side of the story.

This kind of people wants to create drama and make life more interesting by starting a rumor. Some do it to gain popularity, to make it appear that they are in the know. I will not confront those person spreading rumors. I know myself more than anybody else. They are just insecure of themselves.

In my experience it's best to ignore it, however hard it may be.
These people thrive off response so best thing to do, honestly just ignore it =]
