When cops and ambulances surround your neighbors house,do you peak??..

Or do you just stay in your house midning your own buisness?..
back home in ohio if your house was burning or you get arrested half the town watched hahaha sometimes it would get so bad other shefiis would have a hard time getting thorough. and they have sheffis out there in the yellow vest things keeping people back from it....
Here in nc were i live now. people arent so nosey. or if they are. they just peak out the window or open the door taka glance and then go back inside...
and then later here about it from others or read it in the news paper...
So wich one are you?... the one who walks out to the street to get a clear veiw, or do you peek outt he windows?...
or mind your buisness and keep to yourself inside?...

Hahaha,this discussion stemmed from tonight when 2 ambulances and 2 cops and 1 fire person came out to my next door neighbors place.. well really alittle ways down... i went outside on my porch.. wich i dont smoke in my house so that is were i smoke. but i was sitting there wondering what was going on haha i guess im a nosey one too:P. thanks for discussion!

hi Mikeys wifey sometimes I do peek or go outside as I
wonder if there is some way I could be of help then
realize they have all the help they could possibly need.
so I guess I am a tad snoopy, but this is the nurses
aide still in me after many years of retirement. I always
remember two years ago this month when I had a terrible
fall and broke my shoulder badly I needed help,and a couple of onlookers came over and asked me if I was hurt. they immediately phoned for the paramedics to come and stayed with me talking and trying to calm me until the paramedics arrived. I owe these people whose names I do not even know a big debt of
gratitude.so they were nosey in a good way.

Oh yes, in some cases being a nosey isnt a bad thing.
with me and my neighbors. i pay attention so much to there activitys in the day i know when somthing isnt right.
so if somthing did hapen
i would relize and no to go knock on their door or or if i feel they need help.
thats really nice of thoes people to stop and ask. i bet it saved you from worse damage to your shoulder and also alot of extra pain..

I don't go out of my house if I hear sirens in our road, but if it's very close by then I do look out of the window to check whether or not it's somebody that I know. If it's a friend then I'd want to know about it and see if I can help in any way. I guess that should go for anyone else, whether it's a friend or not, but if it's a stranger then I'd feel more that I was interfering.
It's happened to us once too; I called an ambulance a while ago as my daughter ate something she shouldn't have done, and I could see one neighbour looking out of the window and another one who had seen that the door was open, came in to see what was going on. I wasn't offended by this though, they know us and were just concerned about whether we were ok.

Oh no. your little girl ate somthing she shouldnt have:(. must have been a scary thing for you:(..
yes it would be nice for everyone to look outt he window to see if they can help. but most people just look outside to see what is going on .
and i think that somtimes some people dont even think to help. when there to preoccupied just staring:P.... i dont stare i dont even walk out into the road, i stay in my area and observe.
If i can help i would. im just scared i might do somthing wrong:(.

People where I live are like mediamen. Once an ambulance is around for some rescue operations or some kind, everyone will be out to get the latest news. So they have something to talk about later. I am not quite like my neighbors. I just go out of my house, position my self at the gate. And the people will then pass the updates to me, lol...
