I do not believe that I have ever experienced a sinus headache. But I understand that they are nothing nice. So when I saw this article, I thought to share it with everyone. Do you suffer from sinus headaches? What usually helps it? http://www.everydayhealth.com/publicsite/index.aspx?puid=420354ca-c754-497a-8b53-621101dde257&p=4&xid=nl_EverydayHealthAsthmaandAllergies_20080705

I used to have sinus headaches. One that lasted weeks turned out to be cancer, requiring an ethmoidectomy. I didn't write that for anyone's sympathy; just to point out that we too often declare these things to be nothing, when they're not. In any case, while I was recuperating, a couple of doctors told me to same thing to avoid sinus headaches, and I haven't had one in more than a decade! The name brand of the solution is Ocean, but just about every pharmacy has its own brand, and it's incredibly inexpensive. Just spray a couple of squirts in each nostril as part of your waking-up routine, and a couple as part of your going-to-bed routine. Sometimes you'll have to blow your nose several times, but it works! It's simply a sterile saline solution, but I know people who use table salt and tap water. It works, too, but not as reliably. I found that it immediately reduced the severity of my asthma, as well.

So what you are saying is that a sinus headache could be a symptom of cancer? Thank you so much for sharing this infomation. I never knew that. Thank you also for giving information about products that you have tried and have worked for you.

I don't want to alarm anybody. Remember, that was a sinus headache that lassted several weeks! The nasal rinse is practically a miracle. My pulmonologist says it can reduce colds an flu like nothing else, and it helps those conditions heal faster than the usual medications, rest and fluids alone.
