How To Prevent A Sinus Headache

I used to have sinus headaches. One that lasted weeks turned out to be cancer, requiring an ethmoidectomy. I didn't write that for anyone's sympathy; just to point out that we too often declare these things to be nothing, when they're not. In any case, while I was recuperating, a couple of doctors told me to same thing to avoid sinus headaches, and I haven't had one in more than a decade! The name brand of the solution is Ocean, but just about every pharmacy has its own brand, and it's incredibly inexpensive. Just spray a couple of squirts in each nostril as part of your waking-up routine, and a couple as part of your going-to-bed routine. Sometimes you'll have to blow your nose several times, but it works! It's simply a sterile saline solution, but I know people who use table salt and tap water. It works, too, but not as reliably. I found that it immediately reduced the severity of my asthma, as well.

Whether it is sinus or not I don't know but sometimes I'll be getting headache frequently and severely.
