i have never borrowed money from friends (knock on wood) the most would be that i would let some one pay for me to go some where but that was their choice.. i think that people need to start telling this friend no if she doesnt seem to get the message.. it will be hard but she would at least know she would HAVE to manage things better.. other than that i dunno what to tell you to do if she is a good friend.. if she isnt a good friend then you might want to weigh how good of a friend is she compared to how much of an issue it has become

yes you're right it's a bad habit ,but if you need to borrow sometimes your freinds are very kind to help you I mean in situation that makes you feel embarrassed I always try not to take money from my freinds and I usually pay for them the university lunch food cost and they do that too just to share every day so how about that ??

i myself seldom borrow money from others.if i really need to do so,i prefer to borrow some from the bank or the credit card though i have to pay some additional fees.i think it's more convinent than borrow money from friends.but if my friends ask for some money from me,i will do my best to help him or her.In my opinion,a friend in need is a friend indeed.
