Earning extra money online is easier than most businesses out there. Almost anyone can do it from the comfort of their homes and with no or very little investment. I don't think housewives are the dominant presence in the online business world. I still see more men promoting their wares. In today's global economy, making money is everyone's business.

I am neither a student nor a housewife so you're probably right. I started trying to make money online about two months ago when I realised I should put most of my free time at work and at home and my PCs to good use and put all the hype I'd heard to the test.
Did not want to waste my time so I did quite a lot of research and still do. I did not expect to earn anything straight away when I first started but I have done pretty ok in the past two months and I have written a blog about my findings to help others who may be 'bleak' to making money online like I kinda was.
I think with the current credit crunch, rising fuel and prices of goods, also with more people having PCs and broadband at home, there will be more people exploring the possibility of making money online and not just students or housewives.

I haven't made any money in my PayPal account, but I'm willing to post until I hit my target of $20.
