It has been around two years of less than aggressive but at least consistent activity on myLot and I am only a number of responses away from reaching 1000! So where should I celebrate this personal milestone in terms of my 1000th post? Should I just use my standard method of searching through friends topics and then top discussions and today's hot topics? Or should I mark this auspicious occasion by doing something TOTALLY different to my usual habits? lol. I have no idea how the heck some members got to 10,000 or more posts!!!!!

When you compare my number to MANY of the other prolific users of this site it doesn't really seem so much anymore! But it's my own personal milestone and thats what counts! I am happy to hear that it is somewhat of an inspiration for you too! If you can look past seeing this site as a money making proposition (or relying on it as one) and enjoy it for the interaction and the things you can learn and discuss then you will be here for a long time to come! Thanks for responding and I will keep an eye out for some of your topics. If one grabs my attention then maybe I will! lol

I have to admit that I too have learned a lot and continue to do so on this site. I have always considered myself to have a pretty broad general knowledge but am happy to add something new every day! Enjoy!

Well congrats James. As far as how you should celebrate I am way off the mark so I have no idea. lol I don't know how some people got to 10,000 either they must live on this thing! I myself will admit my dedication is not that great. Enjoy your accomplishment.....

I must admit I AM feeling pretty OK about it! I can't believe it has taken me around two years though. The people that Do reach 10,000 plus must be very proactive on a massive daily scale. I just don't have the time for any more than a few responses etc a day. Thanks for responding!

Do something different. Suggestions: 1) McCain vs Obama - Fisticuffs to settle election? 2) McCain says Obama too inexperienced; Obama says McCain too old; Citizens agree both right! 3) Oil companies covertly funding environmental groups? 4) Have I been wasting my life with 1000 posts? I could go on and on, but you know what I mean.

OK. Hmmm. So maybe I could celebrate my 1000th post by weighing into the American political debate angle? Or seek to passionately promote one of the countless conspiracies! Oh, decisions; decisions...... My brain hurts! Thanks for responding.
