What do you think about LASIK surgery?

Is this type of surgery really guaranteed safe to do? From what I know there are several complications after the surgery. I am planning to do this but I scare of the side-effects. But of course every surgery has its successful stories and also the failure parts. Does anyone in Mylot has any experience about LASIK surgery?

There are pros and cons to it. I have seen people that have had it done and they are real happy. But there are those that have bad results also! Frankly..I would not chance it. Maybe at a later time after all the bugs have been worked out and the success rate is better..but not just yet.
