Can you take alcohol with valium?

I heard that alcohol and valium has the same effect. It makes you high when you take a small amount and make you down in large amounts. How true is this?

Don't mix those together, it's dangerous. Normally you feel more 'awake' / 'alive' when the effect of the medication is wearing off. Anyway, my advice to you is DO NOT take the benzodiazepines if you don't really need it. they are addictive and it's only for short term use under medical supervisions. Cheers.
