Hey Cub fans, what do you think about that? The seven All-Stars is a franchise record. The Cubs have had 6 go the All Star game back in 1988. We've even got our adorable coach, Lou Piniella going. Can't beat that!!
It looks like a Cub All Star game to me. I don't usually watch the All Star game, but I definately will this year!:-)
What are your opinions?
Have a great day!

The Cubs shouldn't allow this to happen, not to say that the players don't deserve it but Alfonso Soriano wasn't even playing for Half the season, Kosuke Fukudome is not even close to a good hitter he is just an attraction to Japanese fans. Geovanny Soto is one of the best catchers in the NL and he deserves to go. Aramis Ramirez deserves to go and so does Gold Glover Derek Lee. People who are injured shouldn't be appointed to the all star roster because the should be on the all start Disable List.
This is worse than the Boston Red Sox because they to are sending seven players to the All Star Game, David Ortiz shouldn't go because he is still injured.
Call this a tirade because it is, many players in the league are getting pushed aside for main members of their team like: Pat Burrell, David Eckstein, Scott Rolen and Shaun Marcum.
