Is REINCARNATION true or just hoax?

I just curious if reincarnation is true or not. In my country i am currently watching a daily TV series in local television which is about an old rich man named DON PEDRO, who died of heart attack and destiny happened to reincarnate him in a different man's body. As the story goes he went back to his property and applied as a driver. He can't proclaim himself as DOn Pedro, because things got complicated when he died. Thus he introduced himself in different individual. As i am getting hook to this Tv Series, i asked myself if i die (which all of us will) what or whose body will i be reincarnated and what life will it be. Exception to the rule are hindus and buddhist who believes in reincartion.
