Recommend Twilight to a friend?

I really enjoyed it. there's no real hype with it in the UK at all, I just saw it on the bookshelf, and thought it looked like an entertaining, lighthearted read. it is quite frothy, and rather cheesy, but it's fun and rather sweet. I only after reading it found out it had much of a following and will be a film. I'm looking forward to seeing it. from the pictures of the Cullens, the casting looks better than I'd thought from seeing the names of the actors.

This is a good book. I wondered the same thing at first. But a vampire love story - I just had to check it out.

I just finished reading the first book and found it throughly enjoyable. It was well written and quite engrossing. I couldn't wait to finish it to find out what happened. My husband surprised me with the second book when I was 3/4 finished with the first book. It spurred me on to stay up late and finish. I would highly recommend this book to a friend. I would even lend them my copy as long as they promised to give it back!

I would recommented it to just about anybody. I own all four books. I have read all of them three times already. I enjoyed the movie too. I can not wait for the next to hit the movies. This series is a long series and alot of reading, but it is worth it in the end. I would have to say it is a modern Romeo and Juilet mixed with vampire series.
