When The Night Goes Bad -- Disaster Story

This happened at the end of March. Me, my sister, bro in law , their kids and my mom we all were traveling back to San Diego from a long trip from Washington. We stayed in Washington for a couple of weeks since it was my first cousin's wedding which of course was alright with the champagne, karaoke, family and other people. Anyways after arriving back on a Thursday night in San Diego, all of us arrived home wanting to rest up. We already loaded up everything in the house and put back what was necessary and other clothes to be in the laundry. My dad mentioned that him and our roommate Virgie was using my car to go to Wal Mart since my dad can't drive he had our roommate use my car to drive him there. I didn't bring my car to the trip so my sister brought her truck instead. So back to the story we all went to sleep. It was 2AM at night I was woke up silently by one of our former roommates Gil and he told me that my car lights were still on. Then puzzled me then I remembered my dad said Virgie drove him earlier to get some things at Wal Mart. So I got up and checked my car. I notice I saw the lights on, my CD player on and my car keys in the ignition turned as if someone was about to drive. Then my mind went nuts and said things I can't put in this discussion. Then I remembered going to Virgie woke up her silently and told her off that she left my key in the ignition. Now she told me she had a slim jim so I asked her to get it for me. So it's pass 2AM outside, cold and we're using this Slim Jim in the car. I first attempt to open my car, I saw the knob going up but then again it went down so no luck. Now I had Virgie go at it to attempt to open my car with the slim jim. Now I went back in the house to get a screwdriver. As soon as I got back Virgie told me that she put the slim jim down so fast that the slim jim entered in my car door in the side. Then it was a disaster I got petrified and said I'm screwed. Then I told Virgie you know what you left my keys in the car, better call a tow company to come out to get my car open. Knowing it cost about $75 Virgie end up paying it so we got one of the tow truck guy to come out and pop the side door open professionally. Good thing we got the doors open. Now the thing is my battery got drained and now I couldn't start my car. Good thing Virgie had jumpers which we used. It took a good 30 minutes to get my car started back up. No telling how many hours those keys were in the ignition draining my battery. So now the car starts now my biggest concern was the slim jim in the passenger side door. Everytime I closed you can hear the slim jim shaking inside. Then I thought damn. The next day early in the morning I spoke with my dad about what happened. The good thing is that same day we had to get new tires for my car so we had to put money on the side to have one of the repairers to open the side door to get the slim jim out. Damn that was $40 to have that done. So that was an extra $40 I had to waste and charged it to Virgie. So a dramatic story that came to an end with a happy ending. If our mom knew about this -- She'd first go off on our roommate and my dad. So we just kept a good secret.
