Do you still reward yourself after a hard days work?

I enjoy rewarding myself all the time, especially after doing such a job well done at school. I'm still in college, you see. And what better way to reward myself than to go and indulge in good food! Haha. It doesn't really have to be incredibly scrumptious or ridiculously expensive, as long as I enjoy eating it! Lolz. xoxo, ajhie!

I used to reward myself by buying clothes or travelling. Last year, I rewarded myself by giving me further studies. I enrolled myself to an MBA course and will be finishing this October. I kinda invested on it so, that leaves me with a little budget for anything else. I reward myself with a movie or a night out. I will travel or buy clothes after my masters.

i do. besides, giving yourself some reward after working hard is not bad right? you just want to give yourself a treat for the things you have done. i usually reward myself buy buying the things i want to buy, with my own money. with that, i feel so satisfied and eager to work harder and do better the next time around.

yes, i still reward myself sometimes after some hard days at office. it is good to enjoy life also and not just only work. even if i'm budgeting my allowances because of the continuous high prices of foods and basic commodities, i still have time to go out with my friends or officemates sometimes. let's enjoy life because we only live once...

definitely. i usually treat myself during payouts together with my family. it's my way of saying thank you as well coz i still have my job and earning enough to feed my family.

Right now, I’ve been working 50 to 60 hours a week and not rewarding myself at all. Propane bill has to get paid somehow… In Sept. and October, when my mom was still hunting for a job, the two of us would go to lunch and then do some window shopping. She’s found another job finally after 8 months of being laid off, so those girl’s day outs are over. I supposed my own reward right now - my husband’s employer just switched insurance plans and this company is offering exceptional coverage (much better than we had and what we had was 100 times better than what my own friends have) no more co-pays for physicals or in-patient hospital care YEAH and no deductibles at all. The best part is that the rates are not going up with this switch they locked in their rate until 2010, so that gives us some peace of mind for a couple years. But you know what, in the end, while I may be bypassing rewards right now. I keep looking at my neighbor - her 18 year old just had her baby last weekend and her son’s 15 year old girlfriend is due in a month. I’m much rather forgo some me time and be at home to raise my kids than turn them into affection starved, latch-key kids, who while mom worked 50 hour weeks and had her “me” time at Friday night after-hour parties, had the house all to themselves where they chose to gain affection in all the wrong ways.

i reward myself every now and then... but not everytime as that means i have to reward myself everyday and i don't have the money to do that... i work hard from monday to friday and i reward myself every saturday by eating lunch outside with my hubby and go for a window shopping... i also buy some clothes for myself when i have extra money as i love clothes... take care and have a nice day...

no, i do never now. actaully some years back, we used to head towards some outing nearby or a meal after a hard day's work. now life is so tough that i rarely can think of it. i am concerned of my dad's health.

Yes I do. When things really look up, I treat myself to the spa! Yeah, yeah, its vanity, vanity, vanity. But I love the spa and its great to reward oneself with some really good pampering every now and then. Besides, I deserve it! LOL

Yes, I always reward my self. My grandma always said pay yourself first. If you work and work and never enjoy the fruits of your labor what is the point? You have to treat yourself cause alot most of the time nobody else will. A smoothie after a hot hard days work is a great example. A nice dinner after a long weeks work is also nice or a trip to somewhere special. Enjoy life be happy. :)

Me too! When i received my salary increased i bought something for myself. And every payday i'll buy a new blouse or something that is cute, it's my way to reward myself and to relax as well.

I do reward myself after achieving something, even on small things, like going to the beauty salon to have a manicure or a pedicure. Go shopping to buy a new pair of shoes or blouse, and eat out.

of course.. i give my self a reward after all those stuff.. and i do it buy watching movies with my friends or buy something for myself... it's how i balance my social and academic life(since i'm currently studying)..

Yes, I always try to reward myself after a hard day's work. Even when I dont do much, I reward myself lol.

I work from home. So my reward is time with my family outside the house. And ocassionally I do get this. Nothing as big as a lottery ticket though. My hubby will even reward me with a shoulder or back rub. Rewards are nice, that is for sure.

I suffer from depression as well as I have some health issues which makes it hard for me to do alot of things without being in pain, so when I can pass a full day with little or no pain, I'm very happy, and I do reward myself a little something, even if its only something small like buying myself something from the dollar store near my house.
