How often do you start discussions?

For the longest time, I started ten or more discussions daily. But then found it tough to respond back to fifty people at each discussion. The pay was not commensurate with the time spent updating each discussion. So, now I just post 100 to 200 responses daily and make up the difference with one discussion daily. It's easier that way and I still get to chat with friends about stuff going on in their life. It's not so much pressure to hop from one discussion to another and fear that I've missed someone!

Hi I start only 4 or 5 discussions a month and respond to more discussions started by others. I like to respond to the discussions than starting new ones.

I rarely post any discussions. Just because I don't have any good topic. I haven't posted any discussion from a couple of months..!! I usually have my life questions to ask in Mylot but I don't have any such questions to ask.. with me. I don't like posting discussions on mylot just for sake of it.. just to add a big number of discussions below my name. I wait for important ones to come. :D I'd rather love responding to other discussions. Yes your are right .. Even I get many things to learn from mylot. Its really kind of blessing to get to read about other people's perspective towards life and other stuff. Each of us has different point of views and here in mylot you get Introduced to them!! I love mylot ... Its just like seeing things from different point of views..!! :)

I used to start 5 every day but then there are some that get mad or complain if you don't respond back to every single reply...they have the idea that if you don't reply to every one then your not reading them...I always read them but I don't always have something to say back and it seems pointless to keep repeating the same thing over and over again. I haven't been on here alot lately b/c there's an awful lot of drama and I needed some down time from it. I haven't started a discussion in a long time simply b/c I get tired of hearing complaints all the time. However I may start doing them again...if ppl don't want to reply they don't have to. Personally I like to start discussions more than respond although there are some that I really like responding to. The only ones that really annoy me is the earnings ones, the one word ones and the same ones over and over and over. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

2 days 1 post.i am not active in mylot.i try ot start discussions every day.i prefer responding to discussions which my friends start.

i tried to start a few but didnt really get any responses so now i mostly just make earnings off of respnonding to others discussions.i prefer that anyway.

i hardly start any discussion at all and i prefer to respond... i never receive lots of responses when i start a discussion and it discourages me from starting discussions... so i feel more motivated to respond rather than posting... take care and have a nice day...

i dont have any aims to start some number of discussions per day, i just start a discussion when i feel so

i generally just do not start many discussion. there is no ceratin number. many days no discussion at all. i only start when i want to ask anything really or want to share something in mylot. just not for tehj sake of starting many.

No I don't start discussion everyday, I only start discussion when I can think of something to ask/ gather opinions. I think sometimes my brain just got stuck and cannot start any interesting discussions. *smiles*

I mostly respond to discussion rather than starting one on my own. I am usually more productive that way. I am trying to at the very least start one discussion per day if not more. When I am not on mylot and I think of things to start discussions with and write them down for later because when I am on here I usually cannot think of a discussion to start.

Hello, When I first joined the lot the first few weeks I would post a few a day . Now , I only start one once in a blue moon . I think my shy side is back again .

That is a great goal for mylot.com! I rarely start new discussions because I can never think of new ideas that are not already posted. I usually do about a post or two every other day, but that's only when I'm able to think of really good things to talk about. Some of my discussions that I thought I would get a lot of responses to, I have not received even one. The ones that I thought would get only a few responses have received tons. I prefer responding to discussions than posting new ones. It's easier for me. Plus, I love to read what other people are going through because it makes me feel as though I'm not alone.

I usualy start at least 1 a day, often 2 or 3.I reply to a lot more.

I do not start new discussions every day. I will sometimes start several discussions in one day and sometimes I will go several days without starting any at all. I enjoy both starting discussions and replying to them, but most of the time I reply to discussions.

I usually only start about 1 a day unless I have a lot of stuff on my mind and need to get it off. I usually just respond to other people.

I tried starting a few but haven't had a great deal of success with getting responses. Perhaps it is because I am still rather new. I have read that many veterans, if you will, do not want to respond to posts started by new people because they fear the post will get deleted and it will hurt their count some how. I don't know if that is true or not but if I see something I want to respond to I do. losing a point or something doesn't bother me as I never expected to make a living sitting on a discussion board. I do like responding to discussions though and I am trying to write longer detailed responses. Those two word responses some people offer are a waste of time. I guess I would like to start more discussions, but I like to talk about sports and there doesn't seem to be a huge fan base on this site for things like football and collecting sports stuff. I guess I will need to recruit some fellow fans to come and join me here.

hi friend I am glad to respond this topic here.I usually start my new discussion every day. Generally, i only write 1-2 ones.Maybe later,i will write a lot. I think every one has his own idea to start his discussion.It is different with people's habit. Good luck
