are becoming more amiable - this was in an article i read yesterday...is it true?

yes of course this is true. breeders just want to earn money and breed dogs irrespective of time. for eg at least 2 heat periods must be left for dog to breed again. but they mate dog regularly. dog if given proper balanced diet comes to heat in 4 months otherwise 6 months. in this way when dog is not bred properly their characteristics change . same happened in case of rottweilers.they were so good dogs but now every one dislikes them. same is lab and goldens. i too have a lab dog. he doesn't understands. he eats anything . although i give him best food. if i stop him he becomes aggressive and tries to bite me. i don't even chain him

while what? i hate to think labs and golden retrievers are turning like that but i dont know what you mean when you are talking about _______ are becoming more amiable

In my country retrievers are compltely unheard of, infact, there is generally a policy by city authorities to execute a shoot to kill policy for dogs that are considered stray-so the whole idea that there are people who retrieve abanoned dogs is completely strange to my country-but I admire that compassion for animals
