Nik's free clinic!

Alright so I thought that opening the free clinic was a great idea. I just thought we would get to see more of the getting it together. I mean they were in a horriable building one day and two days later it was done!
They could have added soooo much to it. Put in some filler time or taken some Patrick Robin time away!! They could have showed Nik and Nadine painting together. Even if he was talking about Emily yet again. Or had Nadine having soem heart to hearts with others like Liz or Layla. Or a heart to heart between Liz and Nik!
What are your thoughts? Do you think they went too quick?? What would you have liked to see happen??

Yeah I thought it was odd to - one day is was a delapidated mess with the Mayor figthing its opening, and 2 days later it was in full swing opening! I dont' see much in storyline of it, good idea but it won't last. I don't know why they don't give Nik some backbone and utilize him for what he is instead of just making him a whining, useless "all about emily" mentality. What a waste of a good character!
