What About Press Control?

Justice John Paul Stevens wrote the dissenting opinion of the Heller vs. DC, "the majority would have us believe that over 200 years ago, the Framers made a choice to limit the tools available to elected officials wishing to regulate civilian uses of weapons." Yes I do understand that the Justice was writing about gun control, but his logic can be used in ofter arguements. To me Justice John Paul Stevens believe that elected officals should be afford all of the tools avialable to them to basicly to do what ever they want. Take guns out of the arguement and what do you have? What if we start using press control. We did during WWII, we had a censorboard. The press could not say anything that might harm the war effort. I know that would violate the first amendment, but Justice John Paul Stevens wrote that elected officials should have all tools avialable to them.
