Should MyLot have a rating system for users to rate other users?

I think it might be helpful for MyLot to have a rating system that we users can rate other user's posts. Most of the time I think people who post here are honest but sometimes I am leary of the posts that refer you to links and do not say too much about the link. It may be on a subject matter that you are interested in but since there is so much fraud on the internet, one cannot be too careful when clicking on links. What do you think of this idea?

There is a little + and - symbol next to every post, and also a symbol to report the user. I don't feel we need anything more than that.

There is a rating system momiecat it's the color star but you have to reach 100 posts before getting a star. Not everyone is going to agree with what others say in their posts or responses and there's trolls all around mylot who stalk others and rate them a - just for the fun of it so we can't rely on the persons rateing star thanks to these trolls. You can ask someone who has the person with the links on their friends list if they're okay or not then proceed from there. Or you should have a good virus software to protect you and keep it updated. Hope this helps you.

I think mylot has a rating at the side of the discussion, you can rate it either + or -. I often rated + for the discussion I see fitted to receive that rating. But I never give - rating. If it doesn't suit to the topic, I will just leave it. Rating can affect the person's activity here on mylot. so if possible we will help others instead of putting them down.
