what is it with interest ranking?

i bumped into my interest ranking and was very surprise on what i have seen...what is really implied by interest ranking...any effect or any information about this?

I never figured out exactly how they were figured up. Honestly I kind of forgot about them altogether. Now I'll have to check them out on the interests I post in regularly!

hmmm with that number your name is carrying you perhaps overlooked the ratings already hehehe...i hope i will that number in me oneday...heheheh

Your interest ranking is how the person in that interest rank you. So if you are active in that interest by posting a discussion and responding to others and it is voted by the MYLOT family positively then your numbers will goes down. Say for instance you are at 2000 in the interest then after each positive vote it will drop to 1900 or lower. MYLOT is all about how others see and grade your contribution.

ah ok thnks for the response and enlightenment i really thought the negative and postive ratings only affect the color and the number of my star...
