Ok some of you know that I went out of state on about a 4 hour journey well 3 1/2 hour journey if you drive like me.. He he he.. Well for the first leg of the journey I would say the first hour my best friend drove but for the rest of the way I did the driving in his Cavalier. Let me tell you I did reach speeds of over 100 mph's this weekend and it feel great. So as I take over the first thing that scares my friend Scott is I back out at break neck speed nothing new to me in a Cavalier mine was a standard which is the only difference between mine and my bestfriend's car. Well ok Scott has never ridden in a care with my driving so this surprised him. LOL!! But as we get going I'm flying done the highway between 75-85mph in the beginning. But I'm on the search for several pace cars. Yay. I find this Lexus that can smoke a Cavalier like no ones business but that is now my pace car. So I follwing the Lexus and then I just pass it well the woman in the Lexus wasn't to happy about it. LOL! So here me and this Lexus are playing cat and mouse on I-70 and I'm going and cutting through 3 lanes of traffic. LOL!! At one point I literally take 3 lanes withing a sec .. Below is a pic of scott hanging on for dear life. LOL!!Have you ever been on a road trip with fast past driving where your following a pace car and having to change lanes of traffic?P.S. I'm sure if Cyn graces our presence she can tell you about the car ride down and back which she was shocked that when my best friend was driving I never moved at all, while her and scott where here there and every where. LOL!!!

Oh My poor cyn, scott and co! I am afraid I would have been hanging on for dear life too bella! I used to love speed too but I saw too much pain through my brothers eyes as he is a traffic policeman and has seen people squashed, mangled and having to be cut out of their cars cos of going too fast! Sorry to sound like a stick in the mud sweety and PLEASE don't tell me when you are going out driving again! lol xxx

mummymo in my defense the slowest car was going about 90 on I-70. LOL!!! I drive aggressively but not to the point where I would risk my life I always make sure I have enough room I have a need for speed but only when I have a pace car. LOL!!!Trust me my friend who drove back was no better either according to Cyn .. Who will admit she drives faster than me. LOL!!!

That is too funny. Whenever I would make a long trip from Jacksonville to tampa, I would hit 100 on the highway lol. My best friend would try to fall asleep before we actually left town so he didn't have to watch me play leap frog at 100 lol. Usually i was driving really late at night so it is harder to find a pace car!!

I-70 through Maryland there is no loss of pace cars during the day at all actually I was purposely upsetting the Lexus so that they would spring and type of speed trap LOL!! I'm a witch when I drive. LOL!!!! But she just didn't want me any where near her or her car and my two friends well they were tossed around like yesterdays news in the back seat. LOL!!!

You are one crazy b!tch behind the wheel of a car, and your other friend is no better or worse than you are. But none of you drive as bad as some other people I've been a passenger of so I'm not going to stop going out with you anytime soon. Just hope my sweetie keeps the life insurance paid up. I used to make the same trip we took in 2 hours 40 minutes in my Accord. So you still ain't got nothing on me. I was pulled over doing 111 in a 55 on that same stretch of road and didn't even get a ticket. But to answer your question, yes I always look for a rabbit (that is what i call my pace car) but in an Accord I was always able to keep up with the best pace cars I ever found. You have much to learn young grasshoppa.

I once drove a '65 Mustang from Montreal to Miami in less than three days. We flew down the interstate because if we took the car down to less than 85mph it shook rattled and rolled so badly it was like being in a mixmaster! We even managed to stay ahead of the highway patrol and made it Miami without a ticket! LOL This was in the days before seatbelts were mandatory and so yes, we got thrown around in our seats quite a bit, but what fun!!! I've been a traffic speed freak ever since! LOL
