I have never had perfect skin I will be the first to admit it, but I am 30 years old. When are the breakouts going to end? I am in the middle of probably the worst breakout I have ever had. Even worse than in high school. Are you still bothered by breakouts even now that you are older? How do you deal with them?

Okay, this might be a little tmi but I have to ask you some questions. 1. Have you had a problem with your weight? 2. Do you ever get hair where you are not supposed to (chin, upper lip, stomach)? 3. Do you have diabetes? 4. Irregular periods? 5. Hair loss on head (sink clogs)? 6. Oily skin? 7. Trouble getting preggers? These are all indicators for PCOS. Look it up. Basically there are some meds that could help you. Metformin, Clomid and the birth control pills are all indicated as treatments. Take Care Connie

Lilybug: I would go see your doctor. I have a strong feeling you have PCOS. An ultrasound can confirm. It should improve your acne and hair loss. Actually if you want to avoid the whole medication thing the best thing you can do is lose weight. But of course, it's harder for people with PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome). I am struggling with that right now as well. Take Care and God Bless, Connie

I was supposed to have some sort of procedure done after I had my daughter because my pap came back abnormal when I was pregnant with her. It kept getting rescheduled after she was born because of my period being so frequent. After rescheduling so many times I stopped rescheduling.

I got breakouts about once a month, mostly hormonally based. But not much anymore. I used to get bad breakouts from my liquid makeup, until I switched to Mineral Girlz Makeup. I haven't had a breakout since. Sometimes, regular makeup is just too harsh for sensitive skin. And after pregnancy, a woman's skin changes on her face and has special needs not often addressed by traditional liquid foundations. The Mineral makeup really cleared up my skin.

See, I don't even wear makeup. When I did wear makeup I know that liquid foundation would make me break out.

Hormone changes??? Have a regular balance diet. Eat more fruits and vegetables and have enough sleep. Drink 8 glasses of water daily.

I used to have bad acne problem while attending high school but since then never. I would encourage to stop eating the things that you know will give you those break outs. I use to eat alot of sweets while attending school and I have stop that. There is a remedy with the cucumber maybe you can tried and see if it can work for you. I know that having these isn't nice and people tends to stared so try and relax and eat the things that are not upsetting your blood.
