i was just wondering if anyone knew what kind of credit card i could apply for and probably get, i have no credit history but i would think that i make enough to get a credit card. i want one where i can pay a low monthly payment 10-30 dollars or something like that, and there is no annual fees or no fees for just having the credit card, does anyone know anything that can help me? if so please feel free to tell me thanks again!

If you have a choice, go through Chase. Discover, Capital 1 and others are a huge rip off.
Get a card and keep a small balance on it. Like use it every month to pay for your gas and pay it almost off. You want to keep some balance owed on the card so that the company sees you using it and makes money off of the balances.

credit is good to have but be so,so careful. Only use credit when you have no other choice and pay it off every month. I would talk to your bank about getting a card with no fees etc. Good luck

Not to long ago I had no credit history either. The two ones that I got approved for were capital one and chase. The payments are around 10-20, most of the time around 10-13. I have no annual fee or any fees for having the card like you are talking about. I would just start applying for ones that have no annual fee or no fee for having the card. Capital one also upped my credit limit soon after getting the card. I don't know if you have a fashion bug where you are but I also got approved for them right away. About 2 weeks ago I received a credit offer in the mail for merrick bank. The offer I had was with no annual fee or fee for having the card also. There the highest credit limit I have so far. I haven't charged anything to them yet. So if I was you I would try capital one, chase and fashion bug. Just make sure that the card doesn't have any fees for having the card like you said. Also make sure you aren't late with the payments. Really try not to go over the limit either because they will charge you fees for going over the limit and being late. Plus I don't think it looks good on your credit. Good Luck.
