flares pants

wwhat do you think of flares pants i hate them it looks yuky but thats what there were like back in the 60's i was born in 1975 but i look at them they don't look flash what do you think of flares and would you wear them or did you wear then in the 60's let me know

LOL...well hopejordan, I'm a product of the "woodstock" generation and flare jeans or bellbottoms as we called them were THE thing to wear to be "hip" The very first time I saw bellbottom jeans back in fashion it was like a flash back to my younger days when I was a "hippie" I guess flare jeans or slacks do look strange now which is why I wear straight -legged slacks now.

hi there pyewacket do you miss flares i am not sure if my parents wore them or not because they are from europe so i don't know if they wore them but its strange but do you think that it will be back in fashion take care and happy postings

Hey , I kinda do like them and always have . Has to be a little flare or a bell . Nothing too crazy and I am fine then .

I like flared pants, they don't have to be flared as mega as in the sixties but I think lightly of medium flared pants look great. I hate the skinny fit pants that are currently in fashion and were you have to squeeze yourself into it and you will have red marks of the jeans all over your legs when you come home and finally try and pull yourself out of them. They are plain torture and you have to be very petite to pull something like that off or you will look like a little sausage in those pants...

Yep, I wore those things in the 70's and perhaps in the 60's also, I just can't remember that far. I liked them back then but I don't care for them too much now. Of course, I was a skinny thing back then and everything looked okay on me. Today is another story. LOL.
