Bush LIED, people DIED?

United States

We have all heard this concise, trite, little rhyme. Here's more information pertaining to that verse. http://www.ibdeditorials.com/IBDArticles.aspx?id=300323577877918 Did Bush really lie about Saddam having yellowcake uranium? Why hasn't this story gotten more press? Apparently it has been known about for years. Are reporters really that willing to mislead the public by not providing all the facts?

These and many other stories have been around for a long time... yet you don't ever see them. No, Bush didn't lie, but a lot of anti-war people have... including Plame and her husband. I guess it just goes to show who has America's best interests at heart and who doesn't.

The only thing I can figure is that some higher strategic purpose is being served by President Bush ignoring the mindless yapping of loud mouthed emotional critics who don't care about the facts.

I have been posting on MyLot when I get the chance that I believe President Bush is a hero who has saved the USA from terrorists. I am glad this story finally came out. Everyone was so busy looking for serin gas or anthrax that they missed the obvious. I don't understand why this didn't come out sooner, except when you realize the media shapes their stories to the prevailing attitudes of the day, however they can get the most ratings, and obviously the "Bush Bashers" have been real ratings grabbers for years now. But how could they really have "missed" something as obvious as 500 metric tons of yellow cake uranium?

I don't know how it could have been 'missed'. It is a sad commentary on journalism.

I have been posting in many discussions here on MyLot that President Bush is a hero who has kept the USA safe from terrorism. I'm glad this story is finally being reported so other people can also realize that fact. It appears the media has pulled a fast one on the public in their quest to keep their lestist Bush bashing hoards of supporters happy. I hope someone in the media will eventually be called on the carpet for burying this story, but somehow I doubt they will be.

Yes, I think history will be much kinder to President Bush than are the media and democrats of today. Hero is not too strong of a word. He still has more to do, but he has made a good start.

If this is true, it should be one of a kind. The woirld is filled with all sorts of stories and all, and the truth as well as false id out in the public, thanx to ourreporters. So then if its true, how can they hide, if they did i guess they should really be sticking to something.

http://wcbstv.com/politics/iraq.uranium.yellowcake.2.764426.html The above is another link, but to a news story instead of an editorial. Using the myLot search engine at the top of the page, one is able to find many references to this story.
