What are there gossips at workplaces?

because they are boring in working..so if possible..gossip about other people can entertain them..futher more can might affect other people perfomance

I suppose we can't run away from gossips. Why do people gossip? I'd like to think that they have nothing better to do, not enough work to keep them busy, or no one talks to them at home, so they talk in the office. Being a newbie is tough, as you're yet to be accepted into any groups. Do they talk about you or other people? Well, you can't ignore or keep away from them, else they'd call you snobbish. Just do your work, smile and be friendly. I believe that, in time to come, you'd find some friends there. Take care!

Everyone is going to gossip at some point if you are doing better than them in the work place. Don't let this stop you. 7 years ago when I started my job i was moving up and all the upper management were guys. I began hearing rumors I was only moving up because I was sleeping with them. This hurt my feelings tremendously and so i backed off and became a slacker. Now 7 years later I look and wonder why I am not doing what I wanted to do. But they see that I slacked off and never really told them the reason. They consider that bad. So just get what you want just make sure that you do it the right way and when people see this they should change how they feel. Don't suck up be you and it will all work out for the good.
