I myself can't stand wireless. I had it for a few months and it lags like hell so I got rid. I prefure wires because then there's nothing to stop the signal. Which do you have?

Nahhh wireless is bad - Don't listen to anyone that says it's fast - Yes it's fast when you got a GAJILLION quid, it's all good and fancy not having any wires - but when generall aesthetics come in to play it's baaaaddddd stick to good old wires I say =)

Yep you are right that the wireless network is really having a lot of the problems regarding the signal and the connectivity but there is not such in case of the wires so even i prefer the wires more than the wireless.I am having the broadband connection through the wires only and i rarely find any problem of the bad signal. But just there is one thing that always make me think of the wireless is that its available where ever we want but wires are not meant to carry:P

True. I used a desk-top computer so I don't really need wireless unless I put it in my bedroom. Being able to use it in any room (if you have a laptop) is an advantage of wireless but not everywhere has a good signal. Also my friend discovered that his next door were using his wireless on their laptops. So theres a disadvantage that people from other houses can tap off your internet.

I have wireless it is the only way to go. if your having problems with the lag you can also get that with wires. if you have a cheep wireless router then that could also be part of the problem. I currently have 4 computers running off the same internet connection and 3 of them are wireless with No problems

I like Wireless. It does lag, even with cable, but I like the freedom to move around too much to change to anything else. My husband has a regular desktop though, so if I need something to move fast (why though? Whats the rush? lol), I can just use his computer.

I am normally not in the least bit technophobic. I will embrace almost any technology, that is out there. But I can't seem to trust wireless. When there is wires I know where all the signals are going and I can keep track of it in my mind. With wireless there is no way to do that without trusting what the computer says. So until everything goes wireless (It will happen, I know it) I'll stay with my good old fashioned RJ-45.

Dear friend, I do like wireless only thing is that I should not change my position in certain areas were the signal is well and speed is bit better in wireless may be we are used to that. Moreover being wireless is more comfortable for me. Mostly I use pendrive for browsing even though signal is bad I adjust with my positions.

We have wireless and it is very fast. You may want to check with your service provider if the connection is really slow. There could be a problem with your router. Wireless is just so nice because you can be anywhere and still log-in.
