i recently just bought a new computer for about 1,500$ and was feeling a little nerdy for spending so much haha. then i found out my friend spent almost 3000$ on a computer for gaming. mostly for world of warcraft haha. so im curious. how much have you paid for a computer? or how much is the maximum amount you would spend for a computer?

OMG! $3000 for 1 computer!!! We spent $3000 this year and bought 3 new computers (mainly for gaming) including flat panel widescreen monitors, DVD burners and printers for each set. I would NEVER EVER pay $3000 for a single computer!

I wouldn't go over 2,000. I don't think it's worth it. It'll only die in a few years. Or less. Not worth putting that much money into.

I think it is very hardto tell how much I will spend on a computer because it depends on what is the use of the computer for me. If it is a normal use computer where most of the time I'll be surfing the Internet than I think I will not go for a very hi-fi computer. I look for a very moderate speed with not much of Ryan and minimum graphic art. If it is for gaming was that I will heavily reliant on processing speed, my random access memory, ample of hard disk space and of course a very powerful graphics card which will be the goal to make a good gaming computer. These a few factors which are taken into account before deciding how much to spend on a computer.

if someone buys a computer over $2000 its usely becouse the software they are useing requires so much power, that if use with a lesser computer it would mostly likely break down quicker. and if you get a well customiz one then most likely it will lost longer.

I just recently bought a computer for christmas. costed me around £1000. but it really depends on how much u use it, and what u will use it for. i use my computer mainly for homework and gaming, but more on the gaming side :D. the maximum amount i would spend on a computer though is probably around £1500 is not less.
