I prefer fantasy and SF, some of my fav authors are Raymond Feist, Frank Herbert, Robert Heinlein... Also really enjoyed the books by Dan Brown but after reading a few the storyline becomes a bit predictable...

I love detective novels and horror stories. Richard Laymon is one of my favourite horror authors, I've read virtually all of his books.
