New weapons

If halo could have 1 new weapon what would it look like? What would it Shoot? would it be hard to find? would it kill instintly? Give me some ideas about this stuff!

I think if they were going to put a new weapon into the Halo game that it would have the high kill proficiency of a shotgun,the ammo storage of an assault rifle,and the kick of a rocket launcher,but instead of rockets it shot flaming knifes or something,that would be awesome if you ask me.
