911 - has anyone ever dialled it?

i have been seeing in so many serials and films about 911 and the sevice they do for people in distress, is it really true and helpful in times of need

yeah i have called it a lot and what was horrible is my city went for a period of time where the calling system was all jacked up and they missed THOUSANDS of 911 calls.. i know people that had vonage phone sued or something since they couldnt dial it but i think they have fixed it now.. but yeah they are helpful.. some times they are rude but i guess after answering hundreds of calls it would get annoying too

In our country its call 15, my little bro just 13yr age and his kids friends often call on 15 and talk some funny, lol
