YouTube Discriminates Against Pro-Lifers...

Just recently, YouTube pulled a video in favor of life for unborn children after being pressured by abortionists to do so. What happened to freedom of speech on YouTube? Do they not have to obey the Constitution? Are they allowed to discriminate on the worldwide net? What's your opinion?

While it may not technically be illegal for YouTube to pull videos from their site, a more interesting question is whether it is moral for them to do so. In most cases I would say no, but I think I know what may have happened in this particular instance. If the video had any of those graphic images of aborted babies, then YouTube could argue that it is against their terms of service (something about graphic/mature content). I suspect that they pulled the video because of this, and not because they were pressured by the Pro-Choicers. When the pro choice people complained Youtube watched the video and removed it due to terms of service violation.

You may have a point if that's the case but from what I read, this didn't seem to be that type of video. I could be wrong because I didn't see it. I just received an email about the issue and there are always two sides to every story. I just find it interesting that every time someone suggests that we save the lives of unborn babies instead of killing them in their mother's womb, there are significant numbers of people who get upset about it. Why is it that saving the lives of the unborn scares so many people? It makes no sense! Except for the fact that people have become so selfish and so irresponsible with their lives that they just don't take anyone else into consideration. That may explain why so many parents have lately abducted their children or shot the other parent of their children. They don't care about their children, they are just selfish! Of course, since many of the people in this country no longer have any real values and live any old kind of life no matter who it affects, why should we be surprised?

They can pull any video they want to~it is their website~taking down a video (no matter what the content is) on their own web page that they pay for isn't a freedom of speech violation.

Yes, but if it had been about abortion and a woman's "choice" that had been pulled, I can guarantee you that the ACLU would have been on them like white on rice. So, I'm just curious as to what is it about saving unborn babies that scares so many people?

Pro-Lifers will always battle such things. Pretty unfair and very discriminated against. What exactly were the abortionists so against--the truth? Not to mention that YouTube has an amazing amount of smut on there that nobody seems to want to protest against. No worries the video will be circulated one way or another. Thanks for the update, my friend.

if they did that then its clearly against freedom of speech pro lifers have every right to voice out their opinion just as the abortionists do. a site like this should always remain neutral in caseses like these

Youtube runs the website, and they make their own rules. This does not violate the Constitution nor any laws really. Like any other website, they decide what's okay and what isn't
