We recently had our trash pickup day changed since the company was bought by another thriving company. We had a backup of trash outside for about 10 days. It was overflowing and I couldn't wait until they picked it all up. There are only 2 of us here but we can accumulate some serious trash.

Yes,I sometimes forget about trashday too. But then again, I forget a lot of things. But it is no big deal if I forget trashday, I have two big trash bins, and I live alone so they are not always full each week. So if I forget, I will get it out the next week.

Oh yeah....I have missed trash day several times. I feel so silly as well the next trash when there is so much out there that I feel like the trash people will be laughing. So, you are so not alone.

I never miss trash day because my trash can is always set out in the alley where they pick up trash I walk my trash out there. It keeps the trash away from the house and I never miss trash day that way.

yeah, I frequently do this because I work 10 hour days and I am off on Monday. So I go to work on Tues and I get home and will be talking to my husband about something and he will say this is Tuesday or whatever. I usually do it once a week.

I often miss it because I am very forgetful. I try to stick every reminder into my head and it rarely gets done. 
Then I feel guilty when I find my roommates have done it for me. Ugh.
