who likes Florida?

I hate it. im a widow and got stuck here after an illness. i couldnt find a place quickly in ohio or thereabouts, and was really sick of living with daughters big family in a small house. so, i started buying one here. last night the storm was especially scarey to me being here alone. i would exchange house, mobile home, etc. with someone in ohio or KY, somewhere out there.anyone got any advice?

bunnybon hi why not come to southern california and Tustin, nice medium sized city and very pretty and the weathers always
good here no storms, and we are only about six miles
from the Pacific ocean. people are friendly here,
prices are no higher here than in florida and the
weather is much much better.

sorry kid. sure not interested. i lived there for 6 years in concord. left the year of the big earth quake. a couple month after it! i dont call that good weather. lol. sorry hatley, but i have a list of places i've lived and never will again. # 1. is Florida, if i ever get out. #2 is Arizona. # 3 is Cali. . but thanx for your response.

I live in Florida..grew up here actually. It is ironic because I hate the beach, sunburn easily, can't stand to be hot, I could go on. Sometimes my husband talk about living somewhere else eventually but since we both grew up here, we have a hard time imagining living somewhere else.

yes, its funny. my son in law grew up here and likes it ok, but complains constantly about the heat. has the house freezing all summer and sleeps under a fan! yet dont leave. when he complains about heat, i just say "YOU LIVE IN FLORIDA!!"

I dislike florida to. I have been their a few time and hate it even more every time I go back. I would call a realator in ohio and explain the exchange and see if they can help. You could look on line to.1 person likes this

This is so funny because I live in Ohio and have thought about going to Florida. My older sister lives in Florida and says that she wouldnt move even if they kicked her out of the state. There are so many more opertunitys to do with your life in Florida unless you would like a quiet little city then I guess I can see why you would like Ohio. Its actually very cheap to live in Ohio as well. I am sure it has to be the poorest states. Sorry I wasn't much of a help.
