Betty Borowski,91, crawled under her care to search for her car keys in the process got stuck, beneath an axle of the car.. And she was there for two days.. until a mail man suspected, something wrong and informed the police.. http://news.aol.com/story/_a/91-year-old-stuck-under-car-for-2-days/20080706083709990001 I wonder how she managed to survive for two days without food..proper rest and all, at the age of 91. You know where the keys of the car was found,"It turned out her keys were in the car door"

Hello! What? Poor old woman! She got stuck underneath the car for two days, and it must have been bad. I would be yelling all the time, calling for help, but I doubt nobody would hear me. Why would she spend two days without anybody noticing her? Doesn't she have a family? Poor old woman, I think she should retire from driving. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

May be she was too weak to shout and call for help.. and to attract the attention of the people.. and she was resigned to fate..and certainly i am also of the opinion that she must quit driving..

Good morning, dear svka. It is hard to imagine that a senior aged woman can have her own car key. Do you mean that she still drives? I hope that she does not for the sake of her safety and the others. But I am very happy that she is ok without any big problem for her life even without having food for two days when she was stuck under the car. Bless her and thank you for the discussion, my dear friend. Have a very good morning to begin with.

Well it is strange that this 91 year old is still driving, but there are a lot of people out there that have too. They really do not have anyone else that will do anything for them. So many old people do have to fend for theirselfs today, it is so sad!!I hate this happened to this poor woman, I know she was franticed and in much pain being stuck under this axel for two day, she probally thought nobody would ever find her. I am so glad that this mailman found her, he saved her life. I hope she makes a speedy and full recovery. I sure hope someone will help this poor old lady out.

Wow that is so sad but lucky that she was okay. I think it is clear that at some point it would be helpful for seniors to have home care so that they are cared for. My grandfather recently had to be put into a senior home because it was too dangerous for him to live alone anymore. He has dementia and can't look after himself and we worried a lot about him. Though he was afraid to go he is now happy there and in way better care. Also a peace of mind knowing that people are looking out for him.

You are not a bad human being. She made it out o.k. so I say it was o.k. to laugh. It sucked for the poor lady but I have gotten stuck before (usually climbing under beds to clean or fetch a toy) and have always laughed after it was over. Though the longest I've ever been stuck was 2 hours and I just took a nap till my hubby got home to save me.

I'm sorry about the woman. Too old to survive but she did it. She had my salute. But i can't help laughing.Reminds us to take care of our old folks. With that age like her everything can or may happen.

Bless this lady's heart. I am glad she is alright. It looks like a family member or a friend or someone would have checked up on her after two days. I am glad her car keys were found and that she is alright.

I hope the poor dear is alright now. It must have been a terrible experience for her. I don't understand how nobody could notice that something was wrong earlier. I am happy that the story has a happy (and humorous) ending. So, she didn't have to crawl under the car at all. Cheers and happy mylotting

That is something that I would not have believed but things can happen. I know that she was glad that someone found her. After 2 days being stuck under that care. I'm glad that she was still alive when they found her. That was only a blessing that someone noticed that something was wrong and looked.
