Final Frontier of Taxation...

Well folks, they have boldly approached the final frontier of taxation. They have found a way to tax our income, our spending, and our savings. They take their cut at every level of production, transportation, and distrubution. A part of each link of the supply chain finds its way into the government coffers. I'd get down to brass tax, but I'm sure they've beat me to it somehow. If we buy it, they tax it, if we sell it, they tax it... and in some cases, they tax us if we keep it. They tax the songs we hear, the water we drink, the food we eat and everything else we use... yet that just wasn't enough was it... You might wonder if there is anything left to be taxed... well there was, but they've found a way to even tax... THE WEATHER. That's right, you can call it Global Warming, Global Climate Change, Lousy Weather, The On Coming Superstorm or the End Times. Call it what you want, they don't care, in fact the more names we can come up with the happier they are, because each name can be held against us at tax time. Hold on to your wallets folks, the winds are picking up and our dollars are going to wind up in the pockets of Government (whichever happens to be the seat of government in your corner of the globe... or the UN) fat cats with no sense.

The ultimate tax would be on the air we breath. Remember, the proposed carbon taxes? They are on CO2 the air we exhale. How far away from that can be the air we breath?
