I remember being younger and watching TV. I used to watch Full House, Family Matters and Sienfeld. I loved shows like that. They were so creative and funny. These shows are barely on today, which makes me sad. Today we are stuck with more reality shows than shows based on North American families. Watching these shows was one of my favourite pastimes. I used to look looking up to these shows and wanting to be some of these girls, especially the girls from Full House. Today's shows dont do it for me. I wish these older shows would come back! Does anyone else have any other shows they miss watching and which ones?

I love Full House and Family Matters those are the only shows from the 1990s I watched. I like the older shows such as MASH, I Love Lucy, Mary Tyler Moore, Rhoda, and WKRP in Cincinatti. I miss the old shows where the comedy is good and things were really funny. Nowadays there is a lot of language and violence on tv. Even todays cartoons has violence.

I remember being a kid and watching shows like Full House and Family Matters and other wholesome family shows on television, and yeah it is sad that we do not see shows like that on television much anymore, and yeah we have more reality based shows that do not make a lot of sense if you ask me,and yeah the old television shows were something we could look up to,and I wish the old shows would come back,I remember I would also watch Step by Step to.

Ah yes... I loved Full House and the Young Ones. I'm not sure about the other as I was still pretty young back then. There are hardly any nice sitcoms left nowadays. I did enjoy friends a lot but that hasn't been on in ages either.
These old series are being brought out on DVD and I try to buy those every once in a while. Some series never go old and are allways nice to watch and in those cases I will consider buying them.

I agree that the older shows were better than this "reality" garbage they fill the airwaves with these days. I however go a lot farther back than you do, the shows I watched as a kid were things like Leave It To Beaver, the Andy Griffith Show, lots of variety shows. The variety shows were the best because it gave lots of performers a chance to be on television

Oh my gawd. Haha. I love old shows too. I still watch them. rofl. The reruns of Full House is always being played on a certain channel. The reruns of Seinfeld are the same too. And, currenly, Family Matters are being aired on Nick @ Night. I'm not a big fan of reality shows, since they all tend to have the same, boring concept. Cartoon shows from the 90s were the best as well. :] Doug, Garfield: you know, stuff that usually makes waking up at six in the morning worthwhile.
