Today is my birthday!!

Woohoo!! I just added another number to my age. Oh my. I am 55.
I had a nice visit with my sister and little one yesterday. We took a tour of the town because my sister hasn't lived here in many years. There have been quite a few changes but then lots of things have stayed the same. We also went out to lunch.
We went to the Amish store south of town. While driving down that way, my sister got to see the changes in the school that her daughter used to attend about 20 years ago.
Early in the evening, my sister, little one, and I went to my oldest daughter's house and visited with her and my grandson for a little while.
Today, I had lunch with my middle daughter and her 4 kids. We went to DQ and I had the best BarBQue sandwich and a Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookie Blizzard. Those went straight to my hips!
And now, it is time for me to get to bed to sleep for a few hours before I go back to work tonight (no, we don't get our birthday off 
). When I come back, I want to see some Happy Birthday Wishes !!!

Hi bluerubymoon, Happy Birthday, It sounds like you've been having a lot of fun. It would be great if everyone got a holiday on their birthday. I'm retired so everyday could be my birthday, except I never have the money to celebrate, but then we should be grateful. Blessings.
