Are you registered to vote?

I currently am not. It is on the list of things to do though. I am registered at my parents house, but I need to change and register at my new residence. I will be moving soon so once I get that address I will attempt to. What is the easiest way to do that? Also, are you registered? How long have you been registered? If you aren't from America, what is the process and how difficult is it? Thanks for the info.

Yes, and have been registered to vote since shortly after I turned 18. My daughter recently got her voter registration card, and plans to vote in the coming general election. I do know that if you change addresses, you just need a change of address form from your local registrar's office. Sometimes, I notice them at the library and other public places.

I was first registered to vote in Pennsylvania, it was when I was in college and I was living 6+ hours from home, so there was no way I could go home, that combined with the fact that by that time my mom had moved up there and I was living at her house, so I was easily able to register in state having a residence and being a student in the state. That was for the 2004 election, then by 2006 we had moved back home to Maryland because I was transferring to a college back there. So I registered in MD because for one, I had to do it to prove residency for in state tuition. LOL Anyway, just in January we moved to Tennessee, so I now need to register in this state. I am not in a big hurry, to be honest. I *really* want to vote and all but at this point I feel like it's not worth the effort considering I don't want to vote for either candidate. I will probably register, and most likely will vote. But if you were to ask me if I had a glimmer of an idea, I wouldn't know what to say. LOL I registered I think by printing out a form online and sending it in. It wasn't too hard.

I will have to check online once I get my new address and see what I can find out. I voted in the last election, but that was easy because I just registered with my parents since I was still living at home. I hope you do get registered and vote even if the future does look a lil bleak :P.
