Interesting.. Interesting..
The 30-year-old Tokyo woman was walking along a corridor in her apartment building with her daughter Monday when a man brandishing a knife demanded money, the Asahi newspaper said.
The thief, entered her house...and its only now the presence of mind of the the woman worked.. she made a cup of tea.. and gave to the thief hoping him to calm..
He put his knife away and began a 20-minute monologue about his life.

I feel that the man will give up looting.. and soon will become a good Samaritan.
Because he was moved by the sympathy..and the care that was exercised to him.. Some depression.. might have made him to take up stealing activities.. Am i correct friend?

Hi saivenkaat802003! I guess, you are right. There are a lot of people nowadays that steals because they are depressed and hungry or one of their children or parents maybe is sick. I know it is still wrong to steal and we can never ever justify such acts. However, I am in complete wavelength with my aunt when she told me once that, she will always understand and forgive poor people who steals because they are hungry but never will forgive rich, wealthy people who will steal more to get wealthier, like the corrupt politicians or the greedy businessman.
Take care and God Bless!

Greed and lust for money..these wishes in man is just like a little seed lying in a dormant state, but once when it starts to germinate.. it branches more and more.. and will find all possible sources to "MANIPULATE" more money..
And this burglar in topic, i feel is not like the one discussed in the above category...

Similar incidence occurred in one of our family friends, our aunty made food and the thiefs ate it, so they left their house and stole from the next house. So in your case this person seemed to be doing crime because of some bad times but in the case of my friends house they were professional thiefs, they left their house as they have eaten in their house.

Great thing you shared. I think the thief is not a professional one and the lady of mazing personality to have done that.
Amazing inspiring story.

Proberly or maybe he thought that was the only way to get the money that he needed which is also sad. I am glad that he thought twice once she gave him a cup of tea. it seemed to calm him down which is good. I am glad the woman wasn't hurt and thought about how to calm this man down before he hurt or killed her.
