Do you dress your dog?

I was invited to my first dog party and my friend asked if I was to dress my dog. I said "heck no!" I have two rottweiler pups and they would look ridiculous to me dressed up. She got offended, and I feel like not going any longer to save my dog's dignity! I just feel dogs look best in their own fur and they should stay as is if we really want to appreciate them and respect them. Also my dogs would hate having wearing something on, I am sure if they could talk they would plead me to take it off!

I don't think that I could ever dress a dog. Certainly, that would be something that would be more enjoyable for the dog owner than the dog.

Well maybe you could do a bandana around the neck. I have dressed my dogs sort of..for the holidays and unless it is something they are used to...they do not like it.

The only time I put clothes on my dogs is in the winter. They each have a sweatshirt that they wear. It doesnt seem to bother them. Its funny now when they see me get thier shirts they think they are going for a walk. Good luck with your rottie pups. I have rotties also and they truly are the best dogs. I cant imangine my life with out them.
