I think this makes me my 100th discussion I have started. Didn't even think of it until I noticed someone else mention making it that far. Anyway...there are always little cookbooks at the checkout lanes at the grocery stores around here and I used to buy them everytime new ones came out. One of them was for cheesecake recipes. I loved that cookbook. But it got left behind when I had to move one time and I lost most of my belongings. I really miss that cookbook. What kinds of cheesecake do you all like? My favorite is cherry cheesecake, but I have had some of those mixed flavor kinds like pumpkin. That was good. Chocolate cheesecake is good too. I have had regular cheesecake just like cherry but instead of cherries it had crushed pineapple on top. That was really good too. What is your favorite kind? Do you make your own? Where do you find your recipes?

I usually find my cheesecake recipes online and indeed, my favourite cheesecake is: Yakult Mango Cheese Cake Serves 6-8 Ingredients: 60g egg yolk (3 egg yolks) 100g caster sugar 25ml water 200g cream cheese 175g mango puree 40ml plain yogurt 2 bottles Yakult 500ml whipping cream 10g gelatin powder 30ml hot water 1 piece 7mm thick sponge cake (7-inch diameter) 1 mango (sliced) Tool: One 8-inch half ball-shape steel bowl Procedures: 1. Whisk egg yolk, till stiff. Set aside. 2. Mix well caster sugar and 25ml water. Put into microwave and heat at 120C to transparent syrup. 3. Blend syrup into egg yolk. Slowly blend egg yolk mixture into cream cheese. 4. Add mango puree. Mix well. 5. Add yogurt and Yakult. Mix well. 6. Pour mango cream cheese mixture into whisked whipping cream. Mix well. 7. Mix well gelatin powder with 30ml hot water. Put into microwave and heat at 120C to gelatin solution. 8. Mix a little mango cream cheese mixture with gelatin solution. Pour solution back into mango cream cheese mixture. 9. Pour mixture into half ball-shape steel bowl. Place cake mould under steel bowl to stabilize it. Chill for 4 hours. Take out. Place a piece of sponge cake on top. Remove mango cheese cake. Arrange slices of mango around edge of cake. Serve. I absolutely love cheesecake! I've tried pumpkin, not a big fan of it but it was good. I've tried cherry and strawberry, strawberry being my favorite of the two. I've yet to try chocolate, which I am very hesitant to try since it costs so much. I buy mine already made at a local deli they are good but very expensive! I failed twice at making homemade ones so I buy mine. I never even heard of pineapple on them and am going to have to try that for sure!

I really like cheesecake too. They used to have one at The Olive Garden that I really loved, black tie cheesecake, with chocolate, yum! I like it with strawberries and cherries too. Peach is ok too. Most of the recipes that I find these days are at different websites though if I see a good-looking cookbook that I can afford, well, gotta have it!!
