Vacation does not have to mean physically leaving your everyday life and jet setting to the beach.Whatever relaxes you brings clarity or calms your mind during times of stress can certainly enough to rejuvenate! When logic tells you to quicken your pace and pile your extra work and yet your heart reminding you of the meaningful time you are neglecting with family, friends and yourself, its time to slow down.Often letting off on the gas for a period of time can compose and refocus your mind.

My idea of a vacation would be
to get off the Internet and spend
a full day with my family.
We would hang out and eat pizza
and watch Dr. Who reruns and laugh
all day!
We did that for Independence Day
and it was so much fun.

Vacation means not having to get up early in the morning and join the long queues and traffic jams. It means not having to meet demanding customers, chasing deadlines and 'playing politics'.
Vacation means time to spend at home, reading my favourite books, being with the people I love, being totally relaxed and at peace.

To me a vacation means not having to do any work. One can jut as easily take a vacation at home as they can by going away. Sometimes it's just as good to stay at home, and a lot less expensive, too.

I am on vacation today and I love it! It means not having any plans. Being able to sleep in and do nothing! Not having to work...that is vacation!

To me, vacation is not being technical and enjoy being myself. There should be no stress or deadlines and I need to spend time happily. Some activities I enjoy during vacation are listening to good music, spend time with my family and friends, attend functions like parties and wedding, be tension free and so on.
