What can be done about bad cat breath?

My female cat, EB, has the worst cat breath! She really does. And it's not as if I'm trying to get close enough to smell it. She climbs up on my bed and yawns on me. And the horrible aroma comes drifting by. I'm worried about her. But she's had stinky breath before. Maybe it's a cat hormone thing. Her breath doesn't always smell bad. What can be done about stinky cat breath? Any tips or suggestions?

Brush her teeth after every meal and give mouth fresheners! heheheeeeeeeee I really have no idea in this. My cat also has a stinky breath. I will be visiting this discussion to see what others suggest.

First take her to the vet and have her teeth cleaned. Could be gingivitis. Get a prescription for Science Diet TD.

My cat also has the problem with his breath. Soft cat food is not good for them btw. The Science Diet is really big, but my cat enjoys it. There will be crumbs too, big kitty will have nice breath!

Definitely brush her teeth and give her dental treats. Be sure that you are brushing her teeth with cat toothpaste. Humans spit out our toothpaste (its actually pretty toxic stuff) but cats will swallow it so you need to go to the pet store and get a cat toothbrush (fits on your finger or you can get the traditional handle kind) and pet toothpaste.

Morning, beauty queen. I have raised a cat pet, but I think that you could give her something very nice and sweet to drink so that the stinky smell is gone or gets reduced. hehe.
