Social Security System new director

I just heard news that the President of the Philippines has replaced its SSS director to a person who was involved in the ZTE scam. A scam that to this date has not be resolved and the people still continue to show doubts in the sincereity of the leaders of the Philippine government since it is not the first time it was involved in a major controversy. I write this because I feel as a citizen of the Philippine which I love most is severely suffering because of the many challenges the country faces. What with the continue decline of the economy and having doubts on the sincerity of our leaders does not help in alleviating the present situation we are in. I guess what I am saying is that maybe it is time that us Filipinos start looking for future leaders who did not come from a family of politician. I do feel that it is about time that the old be replaced because of the many unresolved issues, trust issues, issues on real intent. It is no question that power plays a big part why a lot of people want to run for position, power and wealth but the thing is that these people are already wealthy, in fact, they are untouchables already. To be honest, there has been no resolution on many issues and problems because of power plays. Hence, the reason why development in the our country is too long. In fact, last night I saw the news in which filipino inventors were featured. These people have resolutions to fuel problems at a cost effective manner and yet the government fails to recognize the ingenuity of these people and in fact one is even saying he would rather sell his invention to foreign nationals due to the manner he was treated by the government including central bank. To think that we are only but a small nation and yet in our own way we were able to put some resolution to our economic problems and yet the government fails to recognize such achievements. What a waste!!!!

I am also surprised about this recent changes in the SSS president. The current president decided to resign because of her problems in health. I am saddened by these event and is more depressed that government decision of replacement is of dubious reputation at all. Not being able to be trusted at all because of his involvement in the ZTE investigation which he kept mum for sometime now. Let us be vigilant with this changes that will happen in the next coming days. Hopefully he is not there to tinker with the members' funds. It is more ours than theirs.

It was not the first time this has happened. A certain provincial mayor was once head of a high financial government branch head that department, it was rumored that funds for that department or sector was used to fund the president's campaign. Now, the head is the mayor of a province and was endorsed by the president because it was a promise committed by the president. Although, the mayor is a good person at heart he has an act of hiring "the undesirables" hence no matter how good his intentions are it just gets shrugged off because of his henchmen. Aside from that, the family of the mayor is known to be producers of prohibited substance and not just producers but one of the largest.
