yeah i had to once when my gold ring fell inside, i put on a gloves and retrived my gold ring, i could think of flushing as the ring was very costly

Many many times as i find throwing toilet cleaning products in is not as effective as actually cleaning it ;)
If you're talking about retrieval, i'd been ill a few years back and whilst i wont go into details... I inadvertedly flushed some kitchen towel (i'm not sure if thats a universal name so its the thick kitchen version of toilet paper ;).
However, after a while i realise it had caused a blockage, because it's designed to absorb the water, so it just kind of stuck at the u-bend ... doh.
Took me a while to clean that ...

When you raise children you must retrieve articles they throw in the toilet, toys, socks etc. I think most parents have had to do this at one time or another.

I've never done such thing like that in my life. I think it's disgusting to do. If that happened to me, I will just sell the golden ring and buy a new one because it's already very dirty since it fell in the toilet.
