Do you care about the past?

In making friends or loving someone, do you care about the past of such person or do you bother to know him/her through her/his past life......or do you see him/her the way he/she is showing you. Would it affect the relationship you will have or you have now?
I am just curious how judgemental people are. Take care =)

I couldn't care less about the past. I lived it and learned form it..and now I have moved on!
(What good does dwelling on that do?)

in general terms yes i do as the past is all we are and reflects against all we are to become

The past is called the past for a reason it is in the past and should stay there, there is no such thing as the perfect person with a perfect past, if they claim such they are lieing to you, personally I think the most important thing is what we learn from people in the present about who they are and what they are all about, the past only complicates things if we allow it too.

Unfortunately I do care. It is about insecurity for me not judgement per se. The whole addage about history repeating itself and the fear of being hurt has compelled me to ask all those nasty questions about someone's past. It takes a strong conscious effort to not ask and to judge someone based on the here and now than on their past.
It is a work in progress, and I think it has made all the difference in my relationship now. The past should be left exactly there.

i do not care about the past cuz it does not exist and the future too so i only care for the time that i live
