An interesting night last night I thought. I ended up liking some couples that I hadn't previously liked all that much. I was so scared for Kerrington getting Krump but I was majorly surprised - she pulled it off. I believed she was really angry (until that last 16 bars, as Nigel said). Loved the lost map routine by Courtney and Gev - that was cute. Had to watch the Adam and Eve routine twice but loved it the second time around. Enjoyed the Bollywood (sp?) routine. Glad Joshua and Katee ended on a high note after that waltz. Thought the judges were hard on Mark. I actually think he outdanced her in the cha cha. Felt so sorry for Jessica being told on national tv that her partner was carrying her. Will handled it with grace though. What did you think about this episode?

Poor Jessica! I thought it was a bit rude of the judges to say that to her. I really think Comfort needs to leave this week, I am writing this while I am watching the tape of the results. Comfort just doesn't take well to partner dancing. Katie and Joshua and Courtney and Gev rocked it! Amazing. Mark and Chelsie were fabulous also. I can't wait to see who leaves this week and see next week the new partnerships.

And then what the judges said during the results show to Thane about how they wished they could have gotten rid of two girls and kept him! Jessica better work really hard this week and kick some major butt to thumb her nose at those snarky judges!

I hope she does! I don't think even a great night will be enough to save her though. I just can't see any of the other girls getting less votes than her. They're all too good. But I would love to see her go out on a high note, with lots of praise from the judges.

I know! I'm all for constructive critique from the judges but just dissn' someone like that on national television when obviously they were good enough to make it that far seemed a little harsh.

I thought it was a solid episode. I'm really enjoying this season. At first I thought Kerrington was going to have difficulty with the Krump too. She seems so sweet and ..so white. lol. But she really did seem to pull it off. She just didn't have the stamina to see it through to the end. I respected her attempt to do it though. The lost map routine was...meh. It was okay. I see that they're trying to give "personality" pieces to them to keep them in the game, but so far Courtney and Gev just don't do anything for me. The Adam and Eve thing...Maybe I just need to watch it again, but it seemed a little clumsy. I'll check it out on Youtube and see if I change my mind. I LOOOOOVED the Bollywood routine. It's nice to see other cultures and world dance being brought to the show. I think America needs to see that there are other things out there that have beauty. It'll be interesting to see who goes home tonight. I think it'll be Comfort or Jessica, Gev or Thayne. (Which is sad, because I think Thayne has real potential)

Well, I'm with you on the Courtney and Gev thing. Even though I can't say anything's wrong with their dancing, they just haven't caught me either - but I did enjoy the map routine - though I probably would have loved it from other dancers as well. I thought Jessica had a few clumsy moments in the Adam and Eve dance but for some reason, the judges didn't point them out. Like last year, one of the things that made Sabra my favorite was that she was just soooo smoooth on those dances, it was unreal. Jessica loses her balance a lot. I agree and would love to see more world dances. They should have more of those and less quickstep and foxtrot! Well, unfortunately, they had to send Thayne home. He is great but the competition in guys this year is phenomenal, I'm not sure I would have wanted anyone else to go home either so . . . at least he got big complements from Mia. Sounds like he has a great career there already huh?

From the sound of it, Thayne will be working with Mia in the future, so I'm sure he's got a lot of big things ahead of him. I feel bad for the poor guy, that he got stuck with Comfort. There was just something really..unlikeable about her. And Jessica, she's an okay dancer, but more often than not I just wish for the dance she's doing to end so I can get back to the people I like. lol

I was actually thinking that the Paso Doble should be taken off the show too. There's generally only one type of story to that dance - the guy is the matador and the woman is the cape. I have been getting bored watching this dance. The only exceptions to this has been Sabra/Neil and Twitch/Carrington's performances. Every other time I've watched it (even if it's Dancing with the Stars - with the exception of Drew and Cheryl's paso doble to Michael Jackson's Thriller). But I agree that the quickstep and foxtrot should be removed to make room for more interesting dance routines. I loved how they introduced a new routine - bollywood - to the sytycd menu. I totally wasn't expecting that and I really enjoyed the dance. I was trying to see if Joshua offended half the world though, heh, but I didn't catch if he did or not. Doesn't matter anyway because these two rocked the dance.
