rock or rap?

I am a country boy so I do not care for either rock or rap,but if I had to pick one I would pick rock,because at least some of the songs are good,and actually make sense,while most of the rap songs,sound like nothing but people who are angry and want to scream about it.

Of course rock.. maybe because i find it more interesting to my ears but i believe rap is also good.

My guess is that they are rock.Not like Simple Plan,Green Day,E.T.C.Falloutboy A.K.A FOB their song "Beat It" copied from Micheal Jackson is rock,just like Micheal Jackson.But the vocal,Patarick Stump did not sing it as well as Micheal.Especially the fourth line "The words are really clear so beat it,yeah beat it."But Patarick sang"Blur Blur Blur,so beat it."Anyway the band is rock.Their songs are rock.Their instruments are rock.So that concludes that they are totally rock.

if i had to choose 1 from the above i would say rap, as it isnt too loud or annoying, but i enjoy listening to some rock bands if i like the music.

Well i'm not so selective as which genre of song i just like songs no matter if its rock or rap or any other... Like hold on by jonas brothers , wasting my time by default, apologise by timbaland all songs categorised in different genre still i love them all

well i like rock, because when i see people rapping, the first impression i get is " oh man another trying hard hiphop" no offense guys

I really do not have a preference I like both equally. Just whenever a new song comes out then it's my favorite at that time
